Professor and Head Valeria Sobol has won the prize for the Best Article in the field of Ukrainian history, politics, language, literature and culture (2018-19) from the American Association for Ukrainian Studies, for her article, “’Tis Eighty Years Since: Panteleimon Kulish’s Gothic Ukraine,” published in Slavic Review.
